Tequila Chamucos is a carefully handcrafted, ultra-premium tequila for connoisseurs. It's the true expression of tequila, characterized by amazing purity, aroma and flavor, the results of careful small-batch production. Tequila Chamucos farms their premium blue agave in Los Altos, Jalisco, and have used organic farming practices since the beginning in 1992.
The organic blue agave is harvested 9 to 11 years, cooked for 24 hours, and cooled for 24 hours. Proprietary yeast is used for a fermentation of 9 days. Double-distilled in small 3,000-liter and 750-liter stills, the tequila is placed in new American oak and French oak casts. The juice or "agua miel" is naturally fermented with Tequila Chamucos' proprietary yeast before being double-distilled in specially designed stainless steel Alembic stills.
Tequila Chamucos is eco-friendly! No herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in their agave fields, and their packaging materials, cartons, bottle boxes, labels and most POS are made with recycled materials. The artisanal bottle is made from recycled glass. Made with certified organic tequila.
