Raise the American Flag and Your Glass in Honor of Our Veterans

American Flag

Veteran’s Day is a national holiday that honors the brave men and women who have served the United States of America and today is the day to take a moment to reflect and be grateful that there are brave individuals willing to fight for our safety.  Veteran’s Day is always held on November 11th celebrating the anniversary of the end of World War I.

Needless to say, there are many things that your bar can do to show your appreciation for the service of veterans and active military personnel. You could provide a discount or complementary meal to all your patrons that show a military ID or serve up some nationalistic cocktails with American themed names in honor of the men and women who have served. You could even donate the proceeds of the specialty cocktails to a local VFW or Armed Services chapter.

While this is a serious day that should be given respect, it should also still be a celebration. Encourage your customers to wear red, white and blue to show their patriotism and respect.

So today and every day, no matter what branch of the military you have served in, we sincerely appreciate your bravery, dedication and selflessness. From Nightclub & Bar, we thank you.
