Party Like it's 1933 for Repeal Day at Moon Nightclub in Palms Casino Resort

In honor of Repeal Day, Moon Nightclub, the exclusive penthouse nightclub occupying the top floor of the Palms' Fantasy Tower at Palms Casino Resort, is hosting a 20th century inspired costume and dance contest December 4. To celebrate the anniversary of the end of alcohol prohibition, guests will enjoy a Crown Royal Maple hosted bar with a special cocktail menu inspired by the prohibition era, lively dance competition, vibrant costume contest, and much more.

Moon’s swingin' party will award $1,205 to the Best Roaring 20’s Dance Moves and $1,205 to the Best Roaring 20’s Costume. A special cocktail menu will feature era-appropriate libations from the newly launched Crown Royal Maple Finished. The flavored whiskey is featured in the special cocktail menu with:

  • Bearded Clam – Crown Maple, Amaretto and cranberry juice served in a martini glass
  • Capone’s Doll – Crown Maple, Chambord, Amaretto and a splash of pineapple and cranberry juice served on the rocks
  • Red Apple shot – Crown Maple, Apple Schnapps and cranberry juice
  • Champion shot – Crown Maple, orange juice and simple syrup

Prior to Moon’s Repeal Day celebration, N9NE Steakhouse will host a pre-party Tweet-up. The bash will provide delicious appetizers from executive Chef Barry Dakake including Oysters Rockefeller and the chance to win exciting prizes to all New Year’s Eve weekend performances at Palms with Kelly Rowland, Travis Barker and Yelawolf, the Questlove and DJ Jazzy Jeff collaboration, and more. The Tweet-up starts at 7 p.m. and attendees will get complimentary access to Moon Nightclub.
