Beam & NCB Give Back For the Holidays

This holiday season, Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc., partnered with 27 sponsors including Nightclub & Bar for its second annual “Holiday Meals for Military Families” charity program.

Nightclub & Bar Media Group President Jon Taffer and Vice President of Business Development Leo J. Squatrito went to Fort Hood, Texas, on behalf of the NCB team. “We were honored to be a part of this amazing program,” Squatrito says, “as well as have the opportunity to work closely with Beam Global and the other sponsors to support our troops and provide meals to their families during this special time of year. It’s so important to give thanks to our military families for all of the sacrifices they make on our behalf.”

Working with Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization providing emergency assistance and morale to the troops and families of wounded soldiers, Beam Global expanded the program this year. “The need is very much there with our military men and women and their families,” says Paula Erickson, vice president of global communications and public relations at Beam Global, explaining why the company doubled its efforts by providing 1,000 meals total for qualified families at three different military bases: Fort Hood, Texas, received 450 meals while 400 were distributed in Fort Campbell, Ky., and the Great Lakes Naval Base in Deerfield, Ill., received 150. Beam Global, with the support of other food and beverage sponsors, either contributed donated food items or donated money to purchase items for the food kits.
