Prism Brings New Perspective to Libbeyas Masteras Reserve Collection

Libbey® Foodservice has added to its Master's Reserve™ collection of premium glassware with Prism. The latest pattern features an authentic, angular design that lends itself to creatively presenting wine and cocktails in new, unexpected ways.

"Stemware no longer is being limited to serving varietals of wine. Mixologists are using stemmed glassware, particularly those with intriguing features, to present signature cocktails," said Susan J. Dountas, director of foodservice marketing for Libbey Inc.

"The angles of the Prism glassware are a perfect way for mixologists to get creative with different colors, layers and textures," noted Chad Berkey, master mixologist and author.

Its modern, curved design not only is stunning but also serves a practical purpose, providing a visual cue to control pour volume. Prism has a large surface area allowing wine to breathe and a wide, deep bowl to concentrate aromas.

Each pattern in the Master’s Reserve collection is crafted with ClearFire™ glass, formulated with Libbey’s High Brilliance Soda Lime, which ensures a purely radiant shine without potentially harmful metals.

"With its strong, slender side walls and signature flat foot, Prism brings together elegance and strength to deliver exquisite beverage presentations and superior service life," Dountas added. "The angular shape works to guide both presentation and profitability."
