Miami Cocktail Co., the world’s first artisanal, zero sugar, zero carb, ready-to-serve cocktail company officially debuts with six crafted classic cocktails: Old Time Sweet Tea and Pina Colada available for nationwide shipping now, and Classic Mojito, Original Margarita, Pink Lemonade and Passion Fruit Caipirinha available December 1st. Created by entrepreneurs Ross Graham and Simon Benstead, the Miami Cocktail Co. line boasts a light, refreshing and vibrant taste profile that embodies the vibrant, casual-chic glamour of Miami.
“We set out to create a truly authentic cocktail that didn’t just cater to one cross-section of consumers, but rather embodied all of the elements that we love about Miami’s best cocktailing experiences,” said Ross Graham, Co-Founder, Miami Cocktail Company. “We started with artisanal ingredients and great taste, and then coupled it with design-forward packaging and a socially conscious mindset. As a result, we ended up with a product that we would personally buy over and over again.”
In addition to being free of gluten, sodium, additives, preservatives, artificial flavors and colors, Miami Cocktail Co.’s six cocktails are each only 77 calories per 4 oz. glass (compared to the average 450 calories). The artisanal approach starts with the finest quality ingredients and organic extracts, which are then put through a custom reverse osmosis water filtration system at the Miami Cocktail Co. distillery, creating a crafted cocktail experience usually only found in mixology bars. Though diet friendly, each of the varietals is created primarily with taste in mind. In a recent national blind taste test with diet and non-diet margarita offerings, Miami Cocktail Co.’s Original Margarita won Gold – proving that guilt free and artisanal can co-exist.
Founded by two Miami residents who met in college, Graham brings over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and wine & spirits industries, having worked for such heavyweights as Allied Domecq, Moet-Hennessy, Pernod Ricard and Vincor International. In addition to being a successful restaurateur, Benstead has extensive experience in finance, heading up major deals at BMO Capital Markets and Merrill Lynch. Noticing a void in the market for a ready-to-serve product that didn’t require any trade-offs, the two set out to create an aesthetically pleasing, bottled cocktail with an eco-mindset, natural ingredients and a hand-crafted taste.
Miami Cocktail Co.’s social consciousness is present in every step of the cocktail creation. Each classic cocktail is housed in a retro inspired design with custom proprietary glass bottles that emulate vintage 1920s pop bottles. Even better, the company’s use of recycled glass, urban inks and recyclable shipping containers means they produce a carbon footprint that is 60% less than their competitors.
