With the continued growth of Irish Whiskey as one of the fastest growing premium spirits in the market today, Irish Mist, the original honeyed whiskey liqueur dating back to 1947, announces the addition of Irish Mist Whiskey to its range beginning March 2014. The only global whiskey brand to have the word “Irish” actually in its name, Irish Mist Whiskey plays off the flavorful recipe of the original liqueur.
Irish Mist Whiskey is bright amber in color with a deep palate filled with hints of warm honey, creamy toffee and a smooth, mellow finish. A blend of four year old whiskies that have been tripled distilled and patiently aged in American oak casks delivers rich aromas of raisins, vanilla, pear and soft spice to this hand-crafted whiskey.
“While many Irish Whiskies are just now jumping on the honeyed whiskey trend we started nearly 70 years ago, we are taking what we’ve learned about creating a flavorful experience and applying it to our new Irish Mist Whiskey,” said Andrew Floor, Senior Marketing Director of Dark Spirits at Campari America.

Campari America’s whiskey portfolio includes Wild Turkey Bourbon and Rye, Russell’s Reserve Bourbon and Rye, American Honey and Kentucky Spirit from America; Glen Grant, Bowmore, Glen Garioch and Auchentoshan from Scotland; and Yamazaki, Hibiki and Hakashu from Japan.
Irish Mist Whiskey will be available in 750 ml bottles with an SRP of $28.99 and will debut in the following markets - Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio.
