Harbortouch, a national supplier of point-of-sale (POS) systems, recently released two enhancements to its free POS system program.
The first announcement is the introduction of a 30-day free trial program. This program allows merchants to test out the Harbortouch POS system for up to 30 days and return it with no penalty if they are unhappy with it for any reason. This program is only available for merchants utilizing Harbortouch Hospitality software.
The second announcement is that merchants now will own their free POS equipment once the initial five-year service agreement is complete. Previously, the equipment was owned by Harbortouch and needed to be returned if the merchant canceled their account. This new policy is retroactive for all existing free POS merchants.
Harbortouch CEO Jared Isaacman states, “We are constantly striving to improve our offerings, and we feel that both these changes will have a positive effect on all our current and future customers. Since the launch of the free POS program, these have been two of the most requested changes. We have listened to the feedback and this has guided our decision to implement these enhancements. We have already conducted a beta test of the 30 day trial program and have found that once a merchant has experienced the benefits of a Harbortouch POS system, they simply don’t want to go back to operating without it.”
