Follett Expands Offerings of Ice-only Dispensers

Easton, PA - Follett Corporation recently expanded the number of "ice-only" models in its line of Symphony ice and water dispensers. These new ice-only models are extensions of Follett's popular 25CI and 50CI Series, storing 25 or 50 pounds of ice and producing up to 400 pounds of ice a day.

Available as either air-cooled or water-cooled with either lever dispense or touch-free SensorSAFE infrared dispense, these compact, 21" wide icemaker/dispensers make and provide hands-free ice dispensing for improved sanitation compared to scooping ice out of open bins or containers. These models are perfect for healthcare, foodservice, offices or anywhere there is a need to reduce the potential for contamination associated with transferring ice into a cup or carafe. As always, Follett's new dispensers produce the high quality Chewblet ice that is preferred by more than 2/3 of consumers.

"The concern for food safety, including ice, is high and Follett's expanded line of ice-only dispensers is specifically designed to offer customers a more sanitary way to provide ice," according to Mike Rice, senior product marketing manager at Follett. The new CI series, with its modular, removable icemaker mounted at waist height behind the dispenser splash panel, provides the ease of access and ease of cleaning required in today's demanding environment. Additionally, the 25CI and 50CI ice-only dispensers qualify for the CEE Tier 2 specification as "highly efficient icemakers."

Founded in 1948, Follett Corporation is a leading manufacturer of ice-related equipment, including ice machines, ice storage and transport equipment, ice and beverage and ice and water dispensing equipment for foodservice and healthcare markets worldwide.
