Drink in the Story of Mezcal Vaco at The Living Room Affair Event in LA

Mezcal VagoMezcal Vago, known for importing the most ethical and family crafted artisan mezcal on the market, is launching in California at the Living Room Affair event in Los Angeles. Held at Ebanos Crossing, Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 9 pm – 2 am, the event will have educational tastings of Mezcal Vago, guest mixologists with all-new cocktail recipes, live jazz & hip hop music and live art.

“We are so excited to now be launching in California through the Henry Wine Group and are even more thrilled to be able to sponsor the Living Room Affair event,” said Judah Kuper, co-owner of Mezcal Vago.“Our main interest is to educate the West Coast on the story of where we get our mezcal and the mezcaleros who’s families have spent generations perfecting their art.”

Introducing their product to the states last year from the mountains of southern Oaxaca, Mezcal Vago is becoming well-known in big cities throughout the U.S. Mezcal Vago saw first-hand the beauty in the story behind mezcal and became dedicated to bringing to light the mezcaleros and their families who have created these fine beverages. Six specialty spirits from Mezcal Vago are now available through The Henry Wine Group: Espadin, Elote, Cuixe, Mexicano, Tobalá en Barro, and Ensamble en Barro.

Mezcal Vago, coming to California through their distributer The Henry Wine Group, is announcing their official West Coast launch as the official liquor sponsor at the Living Room Affair Event this week at Ebanos Crossing. The event will feature educational tastings from Mezcal Vago’s Owner Judah Kuper and guest mixologists Gia St. George and Robbie Gregg of Copa D’Oro who will be serving up special cocktails for the night as well as Olivia + Miss Ninja performing live jazz & hip hop. The Living Room Affair will be held at Ebanos Crossing in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 from 9 pm – 2 am.
