Former hot shot marketing executive, Mark Wilson bought a failing bar thinking that he could turn it around; assuming that he could hire a couple of hot bartenders to sling drinks and keep the customers flocking to the bar. However, the gaggle of girls that Mark brought in didn’t get along and he lost control of his staff.
Unable to quell the drama and get his life back on track, Long Shots Sports Bar is weeks away from closing its door for good. The personal dynamics with this team and their behavior is incredibly unprofessional. Frankly, its disorganized chaos and the romantic relationships aren’t helping the business.
To help get this bar back on track, Jon Taffer brings in experts Elayne Duff and Brandy Starr. They immediately get to work, teaching the staff how to elevate their skills. They utilize intense high-volume fast passed training to increase speed and accuracy. Taffer then works with the staff to air out the dirty laundry. He demonstrates how ridiculous their behavior has been and makes individuals apologize.
In the end Taffer utilizing competitive intrusion sciences to create Badlands Country Nightclub. This hip and modern country nightclub was designed to go head to head with Whiskey Tango; the only other bar in town. Six weeks after the relaunch Badlands drink sales have increased 30 percent and the staff catfights and crying have ceased.
