SK Energy, the energy shot founded by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and social entrepreneur Chris Clarke, today announced that two of NFL’s biggest stars, Wes Welker and Miles Austin, have joined forces with the brand that’s all about providing consumers with a better source of energy and solving some of the world’s biggest crises.
Considered to be among the most talented wide receivers in the NFL, Wes Welker and Miles Austin are the first athletes to join an already impressive roster of celebrities, musicians, film and television stars who are passionate about the product and the brand’s mission to fight world hunger, one energy shot at a time.
“SK is a superior source of energy that’s perfect for athletes who care about what they put into their bodies,” said Chris Clarke, CEO of SK Energy. “We left out common, controversial industry ingredients like taurine, guarana and ginseng. Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver, Miles Austin has received many accolades during his career including being named Most Improved Player of the Year in 2009 by the Pro Football Writers Association, and he holds the Cowboys franchise record for 250 receiving yards in a single game.
SK Energy launched a national advertising campaign featuring these athletes in early November, which includes billboards, radio spots, social media integration as well as regional events.
