In an attempt to renew consumer interest, The Sazerac Company of New Orleans launched Herbsaint Original, made according to the same recipe first used by J. Marion Legendre for Herbsaint in 1934. Herbsaint, which has seen a slightly edited recipe over the years, has long been a critical ingredient in the world famous Sazerac Cocktail, The Official Cocktail of New Orleans. Herbsaint Original is 100 proof and is available in 750 ml bottles.

Valley of the Moon Rosato di Sangiovese

The 2009 Valley of the Moon Sonoma County Rosato di Sangiovese showcases forward aromas of fresh raspberry, cranberry and strawberry as well as flavors of pomegranate, cranberry and blood orange. The wine is smooth on the palate and culminates in a dry, crisp finish. The rosé is best served lightly chilled and pairs well with a range of foods, from spicy Asian dishes to picnic fare. Only 1,300 cases of the 2009 Valley of the Moon Rosato di Sangiovese were produced.
