Gemini Named 'Importer of the Year' at World Spirits Competition

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition held its 11th annual competition March 18-20. This year’s panel of 33 judges tasted and scored a record number of entries: 1,106 products from 61 countries. The judges awarded Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to the participating brands, as well as three honors for outstanding achievements.

Gemini Spirits & Wine took home 34 medals from this year’s competition and was named Importer of the Year, honoring its portfolio of agave spirits, whiskeys, liqueurs and several other brands. A recent addition to the Gemini family, Del Maguey Single Village Mezcals, was named Distiller of the Year.

Gemini Spirits & Wine earned 11 Double Gold Medals, the highest honor awarded to entrants. Gemini products recognized this year are:
