If so, then today is the best day to let everyone know! It’s National Cheeseburger Day!

Now “I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and French fried potatoes” preferably in paradise; however there are multiple ways that you can make your cheeseburger memorable. 

First and foremost, a cheeseburger is all about the cheese.  Owners and chefs should pay just as much attention to the cheese as they do to the meat. American, cheddar or pepper jack… what about blue cheese crumbles?  What matters most to your customers when it comes to their favorite cheeseburger? I’m all about the “meltability” of the cheesy goodness.

In addition, think about adding some apple wood smoked bacon or house-made cucumber pickles to the cheeseburger on your menu. Ever thought about sticking a big knife standing straight up in the top of your cheeseburger so that when it walks through the bar people take notice?  Don’t have a full kitchen or run a nightclub; ever think about loading up on sliders?

The cheeseburger is one of America’s most enjoyed and iconic dishes. So, make sure that you are talking full advantage of the profits it can add to your bottom line.
