From Business Courier:
For the Cheviot restaurant and bar that took part in Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue,” it was simply that: a rescue.
Formerly known as The Black Sheep, the bar is now called The Black Sheep Public House and business is growing. Since the bar’s grand re-opening at the end of March, sales are up 26 percent, according to a news release.
“We feel very fortunate to have been chosen,” Scott Scherpenberg, co-owner, said in the release. “It’s great not just for us but for the West Side and for Cincinnati.”
Host John Taffer helps struggling bars to become more profitable businesses. At least 50 bars in the Cincinnati area applied to be on the show.
