Noche Buena winter seasonal ale is the latest addition to Heineken USA’s portfolio. The limited-edition Bock-style lager is brewed by Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V. With dry, upfront characteristics followed by a thick mouth feel and subtle sweetness, the lager combines fine malts with spicy Styrian Golding hops while berry notes add to the finish; caramel toasted malt aromas are at the nose. Noche Buena will be available in select U.S. markets in October.

Samuel Adams expands its Barrel Room Collection with Samuel Adams 13th Hour. Referring to its 13 brewing ingredients, the Belgian stout combines the roasted chocolate and coffee flavors of a traditional stout with the spicy character of an oak-aged ale. Packaged in 750 ml bottles and finished with a Champagne cork, the beer is brewed in Eastern European oak barrels used to age brandy in Italy, giving it a subtly sweet, toasty note.

Amstel Wheat Bier

Amstel Wheat Bier, an authentic European wheat beer, is launching in upscale bars and pubs in seven cities — New York City; Boston; Providence, R.I.; Atlanta; Minneapolis; Chicago and San Francisco. The first introduction from the label in more than a decade, it will achieve national distribution by year’s end. Featuring a deep, translucent golden color with orange and amber hues, Amstel Wheat Bier offers aromas rich with fruit and floral notes and a tease of freshly baked bread, followed by a slightly fruity flavor with soft hoppy undertones.
