The Royal (Wedding) Treatment

The pageantry surrounding the royal wedding isn’t lost on Americans. The nuptials between Prince William and his betrothed Kate Middleton are only days away, and there’s no better way to celebrate the wedding of the century than by offering a few cocktails inspired by the regal pair. Join in on all the pomp and circumstance and celebrate our modern monarchs from across the pond by serving up some of these decadent drinks.

The Chunnel of Love

1 ¼ ounces The King's Ginger
1 ounce Lillet Blanc
½ ounce Meyer lemon juice
½ ounce ruby red grapefruit juice
Small branch of thyme
Splash of seltzer

Shake ingredients with ice and strain. Garnish with Meyer lemon peel twist.

The Prince & The Pisco

1 ½ ounces Campo de Encanto Pisco
1 ounce The King’s Ginger
¼ ounce Velvet Falernum
3 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
¾ of a lemon

Shake and serve up with a lemon twist.

1 ½ ounces Ron Barceló Imperial Rum
¾ ounce sweet vermouth
¾ ounce Brut Champagne
2 dashes of The Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters

Stir and serve in a Martini glass, top off with Champagne and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

The Windsor KnotWindsor Knot
On the menu at The London NYC.

½ ounce Pimms
½ ounce Chambord
Apple, cucumber and orange soaked in Pimms

Combine fruit, Pimms and Chambord in a flute. Top off with Prosecco and garnish with mint leaf.

The Middleton Fizz

1 ½ ounces Bombay Sapphire Gin
¼ ounce Benedictine Liqueur
1 teaspoon of sugar substitute
½ ounce fresh lime juice
4 blueberries
3 raspberries

Shake all with ice and serve in a Collins glass over ice and top with Prosecco. Garnish with assorted berries and mint sprig.

The Ginger Royal CocktailThe Ginger Royale

1 ½ ounces The King's Ginger Liqueur
4 ounces Champagne

Pour a generous measure of The King's Ginger into a flute. Add chilled Champagne to taste.

¼ ounce Perfect Purée Red Mixed Berry, thawed
¼ ounce Grand Marnier
¼ ounce cinnamon simple syrup
1 ounce pomegranate juice
1 ounce cranberry juice
4 ounces Brut Champagne

In a glass combine all ingredients (except Champagne) into a glass filled with ice. Shake ingredients vigorously in a Boston Shaker for 10 seconds. Strain into Champagne flute and slowly add Champagne. Garnish with fresh berries and serve.
