Washington, D.C. -- The most coveted award in the foodservice industry - the Silver Plate Award - was presented to Buzz Beler, founder and owner of The Prime Rib for 2011. In honor of this event, The Prime Rib, located at 2020 K Street, NW, is adding three new silver cocktails and a delicious dessert to its menu.
The first of The Prime Rib’s new silver-inspired libations is the Silver Margarita, made with Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, St- Germain and fresh lime juice. Next up is the Silver Bullet, a Buzz Beler original of Russian Standard Vodka (shaken, not stirred), served straight up with cracked ice, and for those seeking a fresh twist on a classic, the Silver Daiquiri with Bacardi Silver, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup is a great cocktail to start the evening. Each of these special new drinks is priced at $15.
In addition to these tempting libations, The Prime Rib is serving a new dessert, the Silver Gilded Stuffed Apple with choice of vanilla or dark chocolate (70% cocoa) ice cream ($10). All of these silvery additions will be available through Labor Day at the Washington D.C., location of The Prime Rib and guests will also be able to see the Silver Plate Award displayed at the restaurant in the coming month.
