About the Top 100
The annual Top 100 operator survey identifies the largest-volume nightclub, bar and lounge venues in the U.S. To create the 2013 Top 100 roster -- the nation’s only annual listing of high-volume nightlife venues -- Nightclub & Bar has once again teamed up with Technomic, Inc., a consulting and market research firm specializing in food, beverage and hospitality.
The survey also yields important information about industry trends and performance, allowing nightlife operators to benchmark their venues. In addition to the survey results, Technomic utilizes secondary research in developing the Top 100 roster.
The 2013 Top 100 will be published on Nightclub.com and celebrated at the 2013 Nightclub & Bar Show, March 19-21 in Las Vegas. To see the 2012 Top 100 roster, click here.

Top 100 Methodology
The 2013 Nightclub & Bar Top 100 list is developed by Nightclub & Bar Media Group in partnership with Technomic Inc., a Chicago-based hospitality market research firm, using primary and secondary research. An online survey of operators conducted from Oct. 15 to Nov. 30, 2012, and yielded primary data from hundreds of nightclub, bar and lounge locations, from which key information and insights are generated. Secondary research involving public databases and sources, scans of major metropolitan markets and industry resources provided additional data points. Total revenues are presented in ranges for calendar year 2012; specific ranking is determined by estimated midpoint of annual revenue. Concepts included can operate in no more than five locations and must be operating all 12 months of the 2012 calendar year.
