Early Times 354 Bourbon
Brown-Forman announces Early Times 354 Bourbon, a deep amber colored whiskey made with pure water, select grains, propriety yeast and distilled in select oak barrels. The spicy and sweet fruit aromas, with oak and delicate corn notes is underscored by vanilla and caramel, which complement the spice, caramel and vanilla flavors, contributing to the apple and corn finish. The 80-proof Early Times 354 will be sold in 17 U.S. markets and expanding throughout 2011.
Chopin Rye Vodka
This March marks the U.S. debut of Polish vodka Chopin Rye, made from rye grown in the Podlasie countryside of eastern Poland and distilled four times in traditional copper stills. The vodka has a silky, rich and balanced finish with a hint of spice, which means it serves well neat or in cocktails.
The Bitter Truth
The Bitter Truth launches digestive liqueur E**X**R, a combination of the bitter flavors of Italian amaro and caramel sweetness. The taste is smooth and clean with rhubarb and lemon flavors and herbaceous aromas of mint, myrrh, sage and gentian. It mixes well with Manhattans and Negronis and works as a digestif.
Original Moonshine from Stillhouse is a clear whiskey enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in mixed cocktails. It’s 80 proof, all natural and gluten-free and is charcoal-filtered and distilled four times in a Prohibition-era copper pot still. Original Moonshine has cornhusk flavors, an unrefined sweetness with a smooth and mellow taste, and balanced finish.
Gran Sierpe Pisco Acholado
Gran Sierpe Pisco introduces its new Acholado variety, a blend of 50% Quebranta, the least aromatic Pisco grape and 50% Torontel and Italian grapes, the most aromatic grape varietals. It’s distilled is gas-heated copper pot stills for at least three months, and the Pisco’s floral aromas and hints of lavender and stone fruit contribute to a smooth, complex palate with rich grape and salt flavors.
Chikurin “Karoyaka” Junmai Ginjo Sake
Joto Sake is launching the first USDA-certified 100% organic sake, made with yamada nishiki, 100% organic rice, and is the only sake in Japan that is estate bottled, or home grown. The Chikurin “Karoyaka” Junmai Ginjo has a light and pure flavor profile with a well-balanced fruit to acidity range and a dry taste, pairing well with oysters, white fish, salads and light foods.

Rémy Martin launched Rémy Martin V, the brand’s first clear spirit. It blends the rich flavor and aroma of a Cognac, and because it is clear it’s better for mixability. Rémy Martin V is filtered through a process that chills to the spirit to a negative 10 degrees Celsius temperature, giving it a transparent color and smooth, fresh taste. Rémy Martin V is currently available in Atlanta and San Francisco.
