With bottles of Grey Goose and buckets of craft beer at the tables and 30 HDTV’s playing all primetime games, enter New York City’s new and elevated take on Sunday Funday at Bounce Sporting Club, where a packed room full of professional athletes, sports fans, non-sports fans, partygoers, sports execs and VIPs are all enjoying live music spun by rotating guest DJs including Q-Tip, DJ Kalkutta and DJ Theory, among many more and the newest in NYC’s day club destination offering guests an around-the-clock party.
Not-your-typical burgers and beer joint, Bounce Sporting Club is the ultimate sports lounge that doubles as a dayclub. Inspired by the ‘50s and ‘60s era, the 4,000-square-foot space features cutting-edge designs by Garrett Singer, showcasing black and white sports photos on antiqued oak walls, complemented with lush chocolate brown accents. Guests can choose from the plush banquette seating, bar stools that face a lit bar that gives the illusion of a vintage scoreboard from the 1960s and high-top tables filling out the rest of the space. Bounce Sporting Club also features a private dining area, the Living Room. Located in the back of the venue, the Living Room is ideal for those looking for a more intimate setting or a concealed view one’s favorite sporting event and boasts real-life bookshelves filled with sports-themed books.
Kicking off with a star-studded opening event, Bounce Sporting Club hosted Kris Humphries, Scott Disick and Mario Lopez. Also home to the Gators and Penn State, Jets, Yankees and Islanders, professional athletes including Keyshawn Johnson, Eric Dickerson, Jevon Kearse, Howard Eisley, Osi Umenyiora and Derrick Williams are just a few regulars that frequent Bounce Sporting Club. Also regulars who come for the good food, music and parties – Adrienne Bailon, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Fabolous and the Knicks City dancers!
In the kitchen, Executive Chef Sean Olnowich transforms the standard game-day menu into a gourmet experience offering an upscale twist to the All-American Comfort Food. Specialty menu items include the Truffle Mac and Cheese, 10 Spice Koreatown Chicken Wings, Grilled Skirt Steak Tacos, Charred Spicy Shishito Peppers, Charred Fish Tacos, Friend Pork Belly Skewers and many more! Diners can also enjoy some of New York City’s best and not-your-typical sliders at Bounce – Sloppy Duck, Moroccan Spice, Lobster Roll or Sirloin with toppings a la carte.
Not-your-typical burger and beer joint, Bounce Sporting Club boasts live music spun by rotating DJ’s including Q-Tip, DJ Kalkutta and DJ Theory, and many more, offering the best in nightlife and entertainment from gourmet food and cocktails to décor that rivals any New York City hotspot.
QUALITY OF TRAINING
The quality of training of Bounce Sporting Club employees exceeds that of both bars and dayclubs similar in size and capacity. Bounce’s Mixologist Chelsey Dunkel trains each employee on the venue’s specialty cocktail menu, highlighting key ingredients, spirits and technique for each drink. In addition, Chef Olnowich holds weekly classes with Bounce Sporting Club staff members to review the food menu, discussing popular dishes and reviewing seasonal ingredients. Employees receive hands-on training to help in learning the components of each drink and dish.
Bounce Sporting Club guests can pull up a bar stool and sip on a crafted cocktail from Mixologist Chelsey Dunkel. The drink menu features a variety of sports-themed signature cocktails including Slumbuster, Puck Bunny, Parlay, Trophy Wife, Just the Tip and Hot Streak, as well as a selection of craft beers and top-shelf spirits.
Bounce Sporting Club marks the ultimate sports lounge venue for game-day celebrations - whether you like sports on night. Since opening its doors in September, the venue has seen remarkable sales numbers. Each week, the tables and booths have been completely booked and wait time for a game-day reservation has been up to two weeks. Due to demands for menu items, Bounce has also recently opened for lunch.
Bounce Sporting Club also has hosted events for prominent fashion designers, non-profit organizations, liquor companies, corporate cocktail receptions, and birthday parties for music executives, socialites and former professional athletes.
