WHAT: Get ready to compete in this summer’s (second) biggest sporting event, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House’s Wine Decathlon. The event will highlight at least 2 wines from ten competing countries, selected for their distinctive qualities by Wine Director Kristy MacDonald, and crowd-favorite bites from Executive Chef Scott Kroener.

United States- cheesesteak eggrolls & petite crab cakes

Australia- Wagyu beef and cheddar sliders & Wagyu corndogs

New Zealand- wild mushroom toast

Chile- bacon au poivre

Argentina- filet sliders

South Africa- lamb lollipop

France- seared foie gras

Spain- BBQ glazed shrimp

Italy- tomato bruschetta

Germany- calamari & tuna tartare
