NCB Show Opens to Overwhelming Excitement
The 2012 Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show (NCB Show) kicked off in Las Vegas earlier this week with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring country music superstar Toby Keith and Jon Taffer, Nightclub & Bar Media Group president and star of Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue.” The ceremony officially opened the Exhibit Hall for attendees.
Immediately after the ribbon cutting, Keith conducted a press conference for his brand, Wild Shot Mezcal, at the Wild Shot booth. Continuing with the star-studded day, many celebrities arrived to walk the red carpet, including Andrew Dice Clay (comedian), Anthony Cools (hypnotist), Chippendales, Coolio, DJ Lady Tribe, J-Kwon, Joe Cortez (boxing referee), Kaya Jones (former Pussycat Doll), Mosaic (MTV pop group), Playboy Model Kali Ann Mass, Pauly Shore and Theresa Giudice ("Real Housewives of New Jersey" star).
The show floor was packed with exhibitors and attendees; an exact number will be disclosed at a later date. Everyone was excited over the surprise appearances of Dennis Rodman at the GTOX booth and Ne-Yo at the Malibu Red booth. They both signed autographs and conducted meet-and-greets for their fans.
Tuesday night at Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Ne-Yo and Malibu Red hosted a fantastic Top 100 Platinum Party, honoring the bars and nightclubs on the 2012 Nightclub & Bar Top 100 roster, which reflects the ongoing success of numerous established clubs and the outstanding performance of several newcomers. Other celebrities in attendance included Taffer, Cortez, Shore and Mass.
The NCB Show is America’s biggest and most important bar, nightclub and beverage event of the year bringing more than 31,000 industry professionals, including owners and managers of bars, nightclubs, independent and chain restaurants, hotels, resorts and casinos, together to network, learn and have fun.
