magic touch illinois vgt collection to be sold direct to operators
Arlington Heights, IL - Incredible Technologies announced that the Illinois Gaming Board has approved the company’s application for manufacturer and distributor licenses under the Video Gaming Act.
The approval permits the company to sell its Magic Touch Illinois Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) Collection of video slot and poker games directly to licensed operators when the Video Gaming Act ultimately goes into effect. This announcement marks the second gaming license the company has been approved for in its home state, as its supplier’s license under the Riverboat Gaming Act was renewed on December 15, 2010.
“This accomplishment represents yet another milestone in the evolution of Incredible Technologies,” said Elaine Hodgson, the company’s president and CEO. “Five years ago we chose gaming as our direction for strategic growth while holding our position of leadership in the amusement industry. Now we’re seeing the amusement industry undergoing that very same diversification into gaming.”
In response to the influx of large casino gaming manufacturers that have entered the Illinois VGT marketplace, Hodgson added, “Behind our gaming initiative are the same people responsible for making Illinois the #1 revenue-generating state for Golden Tee Golf for over two decades. We’ve earned a high level of trust with route operators and locations that only experience can buy.”
Incredible Technologies plans to offer over 30 video slot and poker games purpose-built for the Illinois market. A Golden Tee Golf slot game is included in the collection and will be offered exclusively to Illinois operators.
