Russian Standard Vodka Announces Two Key Appointments in U.S. Sales Organization
New York, NY; December 7, 2010 – Russian Standard Vodka, Russia’s number one premium vodka, announces two key promotions in their U.S. sales organization. Effective January 1, 2011, Mr. Jamey Bellan will be promoted to VP Sales and Distribution for the East and Central Regions, and Mr. Dan Liguori will be promoted to VP Sales and Distribution for the South and West Regions. This new, streamlined structure splits the role among geographical boundaries to enable more personal service and greater effectiveness. Both Bellan and Liguori will report directly to Leonid Yangarber, CEO, Russian Standard Vodka Americas, as well as receive seats on the company’s Executive Committee.
“This begins a new chapter for Russian Standard; both Jamey and Dan have proven themselves as top performers, and their expanded leadership roles will ensure the continued growth and success of our brands,” said Yangarber.
Bellan joined Russian Standard in 2008 to oversee the sales team in the Northeast. Previously, Bellan held sales and management positions at Red Bull North America, Southern Wine & Spirits, and Glazer’s. In his new role, Bellan will be responsible for Russian Standard sales and distribution in the Northeast and Central U.S., and will oversee off-premise National Accounts. “It’s been a rewarding experience building the Russian Standard portfolio in the Northeast for the past three years,” said Bellan. “I’m honored to be part of the leadership team that is propelling this brand forward.”
Liguori, an important member of the Russian Standard team since 2006, has held various roles in the organization, including Southern Division and U.S. Military Manager. Prior to joining Russian Standard, Liguori held sales management roles at Rémy Cointreau USA. In his new role, Liguori will expand his responsibilities to include the Western Region, continue oversight of U.S. Military, as well as oversee on-premise National Accounts. “I am extremely excited about the new challenges this position offers me. This new team structure is reflective of the company’s entrepreneurial spirit, and puts us in a better position to drive growth in an extremely competitive environment,” said Liguori.
