Junior Merino (the Liquid Chef) keeps his hands very busy, and now he has designed a line of mixers, syrups and rimmers under the line Dainzu Gourmet Beverages. In August, Tina Michelle Braunstein, of NYC’s Empire Hotel Rooftop, took home first prize of $1,000 for her drink, My Italian Boyfriend, a mix of Cynar, Martin Miller's Gin, Trader Joe's Orange-Mango-Peach juice, Regan's orange bitters, lemon juice and Sicilian sea salted cucumber.

Charlotte Voisey, newly crowned as America’s Best Spirit Ambassador, designed the drinks at the Living Room Bar & Terrace at the W Hotel in lower Manhattan. Drinks include the Apple & Sage Sour (pressed apple juice with Galliano, Stoli Gala Applik, fresh lemon), the Jitney (muddled cucumber, green Chartreuse, Hendrick’s gin, fresh lime) and the Five Points (Pisco, muddled pineapple, agave nectar, fresh lime, wild arugula).
