Pure Management Group Re-Launches Social House Restaurant in Crystals at Citycenter
Las Vegas, Nevada – Nightlife and restaurant leader PURE Management Group (PMG) has re-launched its innovative Pan Asian restaurant, Social House in Crystals, the unprecedented retail, dining and entertainment district at CityCenter. The Social House brand was launched in 2006 under the slogan “Sushi • Sake • Socialize.” Since then, it has developed a solid reputation and cult following for its delectable cuisine, unrivaled décor and exuberant vibe.
“PURE Management Group is proud to welcome the return of our Social House restaurant. The new location in Crystals at CityCenter inspired us to elevate the Social House brand which is known for innovative Pan Asian cuisine and unrivaled décor. We look forward to providing our guests with a truly memorable dining experience,” said Ned Collett, Chief Executive Officer of PURE Management Group.
The new Social House restaurant is located on the second floor of Crystals with an enclosed dining area along with an open dining terrace that overlooks the first floor shopping areas. There is also a bar and lounge area, as well as a coffee bar.
Social House Executive Chef Joe Elevado continues to guide the culinary vision for Social House. Chef Elevado studied under the acclaimed and highly influential Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa and the “Japanese Iron Chef,” Masaharu Morimoto. Under Chef Elevado, the Social House menu has developed into a masterpiece of Japanese/ Southeast Asian cuisine and sushi, relying on an eclectic blend of Asian tastes prepared with the freshest ingredients and a keen eye for presentation.
“The Social House menu has been greatly influenced by my travels and culinary exploration. I am inspired by both the diversity of world cuisine and the way in which eating has a wonderful social component that is universal. The new menu pays homage to both,” said Joe Elevado, Executive Chef for Social House.
In staying true to the spirit of Social House, guests are encouraged to share each course family style in order to create an opportunity to socialize while dining. The Social House servers guide guests through a menu that delightfully progresses in flavors and textures. The menu contains several categories such as Raw Dishes, Tartars, Salads, Hot Dishes, Social Cuts (meats), Kobe Beef, Specialty Sushi Rolls, Sushi/Sashimi and Social Sweets.
The servers also guide guests through an impressive array of beverages including sake, an extensive wine list, select beers, hand crafted specialty drinks, organic teas and the Siphon coffee machine.
The Social House sake list is inspired by the land and its seasons. Much like the seasons, the style of each of the sakes brings a different feel to one’s palate with its flavors and tones. “Spring” sakes are clean, mellow and sometimes floral; “Summer” sakes are fruity with a sweet, smooth finish; “Fall” sakes are classic, big bodied and dry; and “Winter” sakes are cloudy, thick and cool.
The Siphon machine is the cornerstone of the new coffee bar. The machine, imported from Japan, is one of only six in the United States and the first in Las Vegas, Nev. The Siphon uses vapor pressure to create an unparalleled coffee that is crisp and smooth.
Along with the menu the Social House brand is defined by a design and décor that radiates warmth and intimacy while creating a sense of tranquility that spreads throughout the space. The new space has a balance between the contemporary and old world. Dark woods are incorporated with rich and warm colors like chocolate, red and orange. Light and how it is diffused also plays an important role in the design.
There are also iconic design elements just like the original location. Once again, antique Japanese newspaper is utilized in the design, this time incorporated into the prayer wheel design that adorns the outside of the space. The original location made use of bird cages. The new location contains bird nest-inspired design pieces including a dramatic signature piece that adorns the terrace.
Dinner at Social House is served Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The bar is open daily from 5:00 p.m. to late. Social House is located on the second floor of Crystals at CityCenter. Crystals is located at 3720 Las Vegas Boulevard South.
