Narragansett Bock Craft Beer
Narragansett introduces its spring seasonal craft beer, Narragansett Bock, available on draft and in signature 16-ounce tallboy cans. Narragansett Bock is made with light and dark Munich malts, Pilsner malt and malted wheat with Northern Brewer and Hallertau hops. With a golden color and full body, the beer is drier, hoppier and more bitter than a traditional bock. www.narragansettbeer.com.
Custom Beer-Layering Spoons
JMB Brewcraft launches its customizable black-and-tan beer-layering spoons. The dishwasher-safe spoons also work as point-of-sales material, allowing for logos to be stamped on the handles. The spoons are manufactured from solid 1/16-inch, high-grade stainless steel and hand-polished to a high finish. The bowl of the spoon rests at the midpoint of the glass to ensure optimal layering. www.jmbbrewcraft.com.
Stella Artois in a Can
For the first time, Stella Artois is introducing a 14.9-ounce aluminum can. The silver can features the silhouette of Stella Artois’ signature chalice glass and is sold in 4- and 10-pack configurations. Unlike other European lagers, Stella Artois has a bitter flavor and refreshing finish.
Shipyard Brewing Co. Brewer’s Brown Ale
Shipyard Brewing Co. announces that Brewer’s Brown Ale is available to bars, restaurants and clubs. The beer, released in the spring of 2010, is a full-bodied dark brown ale made with 2-Row British Pale Ale, Crystal, Roasted Barley, Chocolate and Torrified Wheat malts as well as three varieties of hops: English Challenger, Styrian Golding and East Kent Goldings. The ale’s smoky flavors give it a full-body finish and a crisp hop bite.
