Kelly Doss named Maker's Mark Vice President Global Marketing

Loretto, Ky.  – Maker’s Mark, one of Fortune Brands’ (NYSE: FO) premium spirits brands, has appointed Kelly Doss to the newly created position of Maker’s Mark Vice President Global Marketing. She will report directly to Maker’s Mark President Bill Samuels. 
 
“Kelly’s appointment comes at a pivotal point in our history as we continue to grow the brand in the U.S. and throughout the world,” said Bill Samuels. “We like to ‘push the envelope’ at Maker’s Mark. With Kelly Doss at the helm of our global marketing initiatives, I’m confident we will continue to deliver to consumers the unexpected and drive innovation in all that we do.”
 
Doss joined the company in 2002 and has held a number of brand marketing positions with increasing responsibility. For the past two years, Doss has served as Senior Director U.S. Bourbon and Whiskeys.
 
Doss also has global marketing experience from her tenure at Wm Wrigley Jr. Co., where she served from 2006 – 2007 as global director, responsible for delivering key brand strategies and creative for multiple brands across 14 key markets. Earlier in her career, she led brand growth in the hair and skin care industries from various marketing positions she held with Alberto Culver Corp. from 2000 – 2002 and Amway Corp. from 1992 – 2000.
 
Doss earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and International Relations from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management with a focus on international marketing.
