Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice
Available October 2011, Kahlúa is adding Kahlúa Cinnamon Spice to its portfolio. Made with a blend of rum, 100% Arabica coffee and traditional Mexican spices, including cinnamon and piloncillo — Mexican dark brown sugar — the coffee liqueur complements the smooth, rich taste of Kahlúa and can be mixed in hot and cold coffee drinks. On-premise establishments will receive specially designed POS materials.
Relaunching in the United States this summer, Mandarine Napoléon is a liqueur made with natural ingredients that combines mandarin oranges and 10-year-old aged Cognac. Using separate macerations processes, one with freshly chopped mandarin oranges and the other with dried mandarin orange skins, each batch is combined with an additional 20 botanicals, allowing for a smooth taste and finish.
Grand Reserve Extra Añejo
Dos Lunas introduces its limited-edition Grand Reserve Extra Añejo, aged for more than 10 years in sherry oak casks from the Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, which creates a complex flavor profile. With aromas of a fine Cognac and undertones of plum and brown sugar, the flavors of chocolate-covered cherries and dark chocolate give way to smoked almonds and oak for a caramel finish.
Bacardi Hand Shaken Daiquiri
Bacardi is introducing a new flavor to its ready-to-serve portfolio with Bacardi Classic Cocktails Hand Shaken Daiquiri. Packaged in a translucent bottle, the 30 proof ready-to-drink cocktail is made with Bacardi Superior Rum, tangy lime juice and sugar. Bacardi’s Hand Shaken Daiquiri joins
Bacardi Classic Cocktails Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Raspberry Mojito and Mojito Classic.
Watershed Gin and Vodka
Ohio’s Watershed Distillery launched its small-batch artisan quality Watershed Gin and Vodka in 2010. The Watershed Gin has a smooth body with a blend of aromatic botanicals including juniper, coriander and citrus peel, emphasizing orange and grapefruit notes. Made with 100% corn grown in the Midwest, the four-time-distilled Watershed Vodka has a sweet taste and light body.
Heaven Hill Distilleries is introducing Hpnotiq Harmonie, a liqueur infused with premium French vodka and made with natural fruits, flowers and Cognac. Released in June 2011, the violet-colored liqueur is a blend of infused berries, violets, lavender and premium spirits for a refreshing liqueur that can be served straight, on the rocks or mixed in cocktails.
Finlandia Bottle Design
Finlandia Vodka introduces its new bottle design called “melting ice,” with gentle ripples that resemble ice before it moves from solid to liquid. The new label includes a custom-made font that brings the brand name to the forefront, as well as the iconic image of Finland’s Poro reindeer next to the midnight sun glowing in the background.
