  • 1 splash Absinthe
  • 1 Sugar cube (or 1 tsp. sugar or 1/4 oz. simple syrup)
  • 1 splash Soda water
  • 2 oz. Rye whiskey
  • Peychaud


Add a dash of absinthe to a rocks glass and swirl to coat. Discard absinthe. Muddle sugar cube or sugar cube with soda water in a rocks glass until dissolved. Add rye whiskey, bitters and ice. Stir well. Strain into the absinthe-washed rocks glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
