The Whiskey TrailFebruary 29, 2012 By: Alissa Ponchione
Nothing says America like a good U.S. made, barrel-aged bourbon. With a legacy that goes all the way back to Kentucky’s bourbon trail American South, the dark spirit is best served at any time of the year during any season. Whether served neat, on the rocks or mixed with bitters or simple syrup, bourbon’s sweet and smoky taste enhances any cocktail. It’s not just the Old Fashioned and Manhattan that stoke the flavors of the dark spirit — having a few creative bourbon cocktails on your menu can make the blandest night vibrant.
