It's rumored to have been Al Capone's favorite cocktail.

  • 5 parts Gin
  • 3 parts Lemon juice
  • 2 parts Simple syrup
  • Soda water to top
  • Mint leaves to garnish


Fill a chilled rocks glass with ice cubes. Fill a shaker with ice cubes and add lemon juice, gin and simple syrup. Shake and strain into the prepared glass. Top with soda water and garnish with mint leaf.

NOTE: Traditionally served without ice.
