2015 Recipe File: St Patrick's Day Cocktails
|We all know St. Patrick’s Day is about Irish heritage, all things green and, of course, beer. Take St. Patty’s Day to the next level with some festive cocktails!|
Guinness Black & Blonde
10 oz. Guinness Blonde American Lager
In a 20 oz. pint glass, pour Guinness Blonde American Lager first. Using a pouring spoon or inverted teaspoon, pour Guinness Draught over the top of the spoon so it disperses evenly. The dark stout will float on a layer above the lager beer. Fill the pint to the rim and enjoy.
The Black Opal
1 1/2 oz. Partida Reposado
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled wine glass or small pint glass without ice. Garnish with some grated or ground cinnamon powder.
The Lucano Cup O' Gold
1 1/2 oz. Amaro Lucano
Mix the drink directly in the glass and serve with a slice of cucumber, a slice of lemon and orange, a sprig of mint and ice.
I Need My Shillelagh
2 oz. Irish Mist Whiskey
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a glass.
1 1/2 oz. Kahlua coffee liqueur
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Sprinkle the green and gold powders on the top.
2 oz. hibiscus-infused Jameson Black Barrel
Method: Shaken Glassware: Bar glass / cracked ice Garnish: Nutmeg
1 1/2 oz. Voli lemon
Fill a rocks glad with ingredients and top with soda Apple slice for garnish.
The Irish Goodbye
3/4 oz. Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Flavored Vodka
Drop .75 oz. shot of Smirnoff into an 8 oz. glass of hard apple cider and enjoy!
