Tailor Sets the Stage for Sagatiba

Sagatiba brand ambassadors Jamie Terrell and Teddy Namauleg worked with Sam Mason, owner of the bar acclaimed for the creations of head mixologist Eben Freeman, to host an installment of The Sagatiba Cocktail Club — a quarterly event held in New York City, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

"It is a private event for the movers and shakers from the drinks industry, including bar owners, operators and, of course, the best of the bartending scene," Terrell explains. "I chose Tailor for the latest NYC event as I feel that Eben Freeman, Sam Mason and the team at Tailor are some of the most creative and cutting edge bar and restaurant operators in Manhattan."

Freeman and Mason designed a paired menu of Sagatiba-sponsored complementary cocktails and plates for a full house of guests including legendary mixologist Dale DeGroff.

"The drink which seemed to go over the best was the Cinnamon Toast Sagatiba Pura," Freeman says. "We made it using liquid nitrogen gelatin clarification."
