J. Black’s Feel Good Lounge in Dallas heightens its guests’ experiences with a wrap-around patio, shared food plates, a detailed wine and cocktail list, and creative promotions. One particular spirit on the menu spawned a unique promotional opportunity.

“We really enjoy working with a like-minded progressive company that cares about the environment and provides a quality product,” Ashley Riddle, the lounge’s marketing and events manager, explains.

Riddle joined forces with VeeV Spirits LLC, a company that focuses on sustainable business practices and environmental philanthropy, to promote VeeV Açai Spirit shots whenever the local college football team, the University of Texas (UT) Longhorns, played. For every shot ordered, customers received a bracelet featuring UT team colors and VeeV Açai branding.

“This was a fun promo that not only got consumers excited about their home team but also educated them on VeeV,” she says.

VeeV purchases the bracelets from workers in the Brazilian Rainforest, which allows the funds to support not only the local community but fair trade as well.
