A. Hardy Announces First-Ever Availability of New Tequila

December 22, 2010

DES PLAINES, IL: Tequila continues to gain favor among Americans. To answer their demands for traditionally made premium tequilas, A. Hardy USA is pleased to announce the availability of El Tequileno Tequila. Prior to A. Hardy bringing El Tequileno to the United States it had only been available in Mexico. Produced in the Los Altos de Jalisco region of Mexico where the finest Blue Agave Tequilana Weber plants are grown, El Tequileno has been lovingly manufactured by the Jorge Salles Cuervo family since 1959. The entire manufacturing process, from harvesting to fermentation to bottling, are all done on location. Strict quality control standards guarantee that El Tequileno will consistently provide the same high quality, texture and flavor that is expected from authentic Mexican tequila.

El Tequileno Platino

There are three deliciously different El Tequileno products newly available to American consumers. The 50th Anniversary Anejo is aged over two years, Reposado is aged for 11 months, and Silver Platino is not aged. The Silver Platino recently won the coveted Double Gold Award at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. All three are award winners.

Mark Levinson, President of A. Hardy USA, believes there is a growing market for premium Tequila products in the United States. “We have been searching for a Tequila brand that offers a rich history, top quality and attractive packaging. We have found such a product in El Tequileno and are pleased to offer it exclusively to our distributors.” El Tequileno tequilas are packaged in 750 ml bottles.
