The 2009 Valley of the Moon Sonoma County Rosato di Sangiovese showcases forward aromas of fresh raspberry, cranberry and strawberry and flavors of pomegranate, cranberry and blood orange. The wine is smooth on the palate and culminates in a dry, crisp finish. The rosé is best served lightly chilled and pairs well with a range of foods, from spicy Asian dishes to picnic fare. Only 1,300 cases of the 2009 Valley of the Moon Rosato di Sangiovese were produced.
