Medinet Wine is the Star of the SouthSeptember 6, 2011
The Mediterranean vineyards of Southern France are the home of Medinet wine, the uncomplicated French wine in the unique one-liter carafe. The cooperation of the Langguth winemaker team and Edouard Chateau Tavan of the Provence and Rhône deliver fresh, clean wines, which reflect the
warmth and easy going lifestyle of Mediterranean France. Commonly referred to as “The Star of the South,” Medinet Rouge it is the No. 1 selling French red wine in Germany’s food retail segment for more than 40 years and is still growing.
There are two wines under the Medinet name: Rouge (red) and Blanc (white). The red is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah — a traditional full-bodied Rhône displaying a fruity, rich bouquet with a soft, long finish. Medinet Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Marsanne, Chardonnay and Columbard — pleases the senses with delicate, well-balanced fruity aromas and clean, refreshing finish.
