TouchTunes Interactive Networks Names Ed Rivera Chief Innovation Officer

NEW YORK – TouchTunes Interactive Networks, the largest interactive out-of-home entertainment network in North America with products in 50,000 locations, has named Ed Rivera Chief Innovation Officer. Rivera previously served as Vice President of Product Development.

In this new position, Rivera’s responsibility will be expanding TouchTunes’ leading-class product design resources and strategic partnerships in order to identify, validate and execute new consumer-centric, multi-platform products and services for operators and the industry.

“Since joining TouchTunes almost two years ago, Ed has been instrumental in the creation and successful launch of our new SmartJuke Virtuo,” said Charles Goldstuck, TouchTunes’ CEO. “He will now be leading our efforts as we move towards introducing additional new products and services for our operators, venues and patrons. I look forward to working with Ed during this exciting time for the company.”

Prior to TouchTunes, Rivera was an advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and President of Worldwide Marketing at SONY Music Entertainment leading new business opportunities and company-wide restructuring programs. Rivera previously served as the Vice President of Marketing and Operations of the RCA Music Group which subsequently grew to include RCA Records, J Records, Arista Records, as well as the RCA Victor Group, where he was responsible for the operational oversight of the marketing and promotion environment. His product work has won numerous awards and has been featured in Communication Arts, The New York Times, ID Magazine and others. Rivera is a graduate of Ithaca College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
