Spring44 Spirits Announces Participation in 13th Annual New York Taste Event

DENVER -- As it continues conquering the demanding palates of discerning New Yorkers, Colorado-based Spring44 Distilling, the premier American-crafted super premium spirits blended with Colorado Rocky Mountain artesian spring water, is pleased to announce its participation in the 13th annual New York Taste event as the exclusive spirits sponsor. In conjunction with the event, Spring44 Brand Ambassadors, Tim Cooper and Aisha Sharpe will offer attendees advice on food and cocktail pairings, unveil unique seasonal cocktails, and extend the opportunity to sample Spring44 Vodka, Spring44 Honey Vodka and Spring44 Gin for inspiration just in time for the holiday entertaining season.

Spring44 Vodka, Spring44 Honey Vodka and Spring44 Gin are easy to drink and easy to appreciate. The flavor profiles allow for satisfying, distinctive cocktails and are the perfect aperitif or accompaniment to a holiday meal. Guests will sample Spring44's seasonal cocktails courtesy of Tim Cooper and Aisha Sharpe including:

Spring44 Vodka:

44 Degree Fizz

1½ oz. Spring44 Vodka
½ oz. Dolin 'blanc' Vermouth
1½ oz. cucumber white tea (Make sure to brew tea strong)
1/3 oz. agave nectar
½ oz. fresh lime juice
Club soda
Cucumber wheel, for garnish

Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice (except club soda). Shake and then strain into a highball glass over new ice. Top with a splash of club soda.Optional: For an extra kick, this drink works well with a few dashes of bitters. Try grapefruit, lavender or rhubarb.

Ginger Mint Lemonade

2 oz. Spring44 Vodka
8-10 mint leaves
1 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
¼ oz. fresh ginger juice
Club soda
Mint sprig, for garnish

Gently muddle mint leaves in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add all other ingredients except club soda. Shake with ice, and then strain into a highball glass over new ice. Top with club soda.

Spring44 Honey Vodka:

The Hive

2 oz. Spring44 Honey Vodka
¾ oz. apple puree
¾ oz. ginger honey (2 parts honey, 1 part fresh ginger juice)
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
Club soda
Ginger candy, for garnish

Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice (except club soda). Shake and strain over new ice into a highball glass. Top with club soda. Optional: If apple puree and ginger honey are difficult to come by, try using 3/4oz apple juice and 3oz of ginger beer instead.

Rocky Mountain Sour

1½ oz. Spring44 Honey Vodka
½ oz. Cochi Americano
¼oz Licor 43 aka Cuarenta Tres
Bar spoon maple syrup
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
1 orange half wheel
2 dashes peach bitters
Sage leaf, for garnish

Place all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake and then strain into rocks or Martini glass.

Autumn Blossom

2 oz. Spring44 Honey Vodka
1 oz. white port
¼ oz. Boulard Grande Solage VSOP Calvados
Lemon twist, for garnish

Place all ingredients into a pint glass ice. Stir until ice cold and then strain into a Martini glass.

Spring44 Gin:

Bitter Canyon

1¼ oz. Spring44 Gin
1 oz. Gran Classico Bitter
1 oz, Cochi Americano
Orange peel, for garnish

Place all ingredients into a pint glass with ice. Stir until ice cold and then strain into rocks or martini glass. This drink works well over ice or without ice.

Rocky Mountain Botanical

1½ oz. Spring44 Gin
½ oz. Aperol
½ oz. Velvet Falernum
2 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
¼ oz. fresh lemon juice
Grapefruit twist, for garnish

Place all ingredients into a mixing glass and then shake with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over new ice.

Pearls of Fall

1¾ oz. Spring44 Gin
¼ oz. St-Germain
1 oz. jasmine green tea
1/3 oz. agave nectar
½ oz. rresh lemon juice
¼ oz. pear puree
pear slice, for garnish

Place all ingredients into a mixing glass and then shake with ice. Strain into a Martini glass.
