Pure Holdings Fast Tracks Purus Vodka Distribution

July 26, 2011

ST. LOUIS, MO.: Capitalizing on the successful launch of its PURUS Vodka brand in St. Louis, Pure Holdings LLC has fast tracked distribution of its vodka through major beverage distributors in Missouri and southern Illinois.

Pure Holdings has recently signed distribution deals with Grey Eagle Distributors, Krey Distributing and Missouri Eagle Distributing in Missouri, and Donnewald Distributors (Greenville, IL), Illinois Distributing Company (Belleville, IL), B&G Venegoni Distributing (Christopher, IL) and Venegoni Distributing (Carbondale, IL).

“We are extremely pleased with the response to the launch of PURUS Vodka in St. Louis and we look forward to the same type of response from consumers in southern Illinois. The new opportunities brought by these distribution partnerships are very exciting,” said John Giarrante, president of Pure Holdings.

PURUS organic wheat vodka, made from 100% Italian organic wheat, was re-launched in May 2011 and has achieved a strong, loyal response from local restaurants, grocery stores, and liquor stores.

Giarrante said consumer demand has prompted Pure Holdings to discuss expansion to other markets in the near future.

Known for its light body and velvety cereal sweetness, Purus is crafted by the Sacchetto family in the Piedmont region of Italy, using 100% Italian organic wheat and crystalline water from the Italian Alps. Purus is column-distilled five times resulting in a pure, refined spirit.

The careful craftsmanship of PURUS Vodka has been rewarded by receiving the superb/highest recommendation from Wine Enthusiast magazine’s TOP 50 Spirits of 2010, and has been named “Best in Category” and a Gold Medal among spirits at the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits competition. It has also received a Silver Medal in the vodka category at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Devoted to authenticity, PURUS has an ongoing commitment to our environmentally conscious world. Its elegant bottle, designed to emulate the shape of a water droplet off of the Italian Alps, is 100% recyclable with a tree-free label and soy inks, water-based adhesives and a sustainable cork closure.
