This past Labor Day weekend, Las Vegas clubs threw down with some of the most prominent musical artists on the scene. We have put together a roundup of parties and events that went down in Vegas for the holiday.
Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
Hakkasan Las Vegas celebrated Labor Day Weekend with a five-day, action-packed event series, featuring some of the most notable names in dance music including (in event order) Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, music icon Moby and Tiësto. The holiday weekend was in full force as Las Vegas' most buzzed-about nightclub kept the fun going all weekend long. Kicking off the festivities Thursday, Aug. 29th and running all the way through Labor Day on Monday the Sept. 2nd.
As Las Vegas celebrated the close of summer, the guests at XS nightclub turned it up for one last hoorah in the desert heat alongside a stellar lineup of electronic dance music stars. XS featured back-to-back sets by Dirty South and Afrojack on Friday, with Steve Angello headlining the stage on Saturday and David Guetta on Sunday. Guetta returned as a special guest for a double set with Afrojack to close out the holiday last night. Opening sets by Deniz Koyu and Apster also added to the music talent throughout the weekend.
Saturday, Aug. 31 Angel Management Group’s PURE Nightclub welcomed hip-hop icons Rev Run and Ruckus as they put on a special Labor Day Weekend DJ and MC set. Taking the nightspot on a musical journey, the duo had club goers on their feet as they spun classic hits from the 90s and today. Spinning tracks including “Jump Around” and “I Love Rock And Roll” the celebrated pair had fans singing along throughout the night. The energetic performers took the hot spot to an unrivalled level as they closed out the anticipated holiday weekend with an unforgettable bash.
Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas
Saturday, Aug. 31 Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas welcomed R&B icon Ginuwine as he closed out Labor Day Weekend with an unrivaled live performance. Continuing his pulsating performance, the talented artist took the show to a whole new level of sexy as he belted out more chart-toppers including “I Need A Girl,” “So Anxious,” and “Pony” while serenading a few lucky ladies. Fully enjoying his time, Ginuwine partied into the early hours of the morning before making his way out of the Strip-side destination.
WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino was a sight to see as the ‘It’ pool party celebrated an unforgettable four-day Labor Day Weekend bash featuring an action-packed lineup including Calvin Harris, R3hab, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Tommy Trash and more. The weekend festivities came to a close as the cake throwing phenomenon Steve Aoki put on an energetic set Monday, Sept. 2. Pulling out all the stops, the DJ superstar wrapped up the holiday with an unbeatable set while the adults-only mecca partied as the sun set.
