Beam Global Spirits & Wine Appoints Tom McPartlin as Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Business Systems Transformation LeaderJanuary 10, 2011
Deerfield, Ill. – Jan. 10, 2011 – Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. [Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE:FO)], the largest U.S.-based spirits company in the world, today announced Tom McPartlin will join the organization as vice president, chief information officer and business systems transformation leader.
In this newly created role, McPartlin will be responsible for leading the information technology function at Beam, as well as overseeing the company’s business systems transformation and Global Shared Services initiatives.

Prior to joining Beam Global, McPartlin held several senior executive leadership positions at Cadbury. Widely recognized for his impressive record of delivering impactful business results leading major transformation programs at Cadbury, McPartlin directed the successful multinational integration of the operations and systems platforms to support the Adams confectionary brands acquisition.
Most recently, McPartlin led the development and the successful implementation of Cadbury’s global Facilities Management outsourcing program. In addition to his business transformation experience, McPartlin has a broad business background where he has held senior management positions in Supply Chain & Logistics and Brand Marketing. McPartlin started his professional career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1981.
McPartlin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics and computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., and received his Masters of Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
