Kold-Draft Meets Energy Standards
Effective the first of the year, all Kold-Draft ice machine models meet the California Energy Commission’s 2008 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, which were established to reduce the state’s energy consumption. Kold-Draft ice machines have been carefully developed to be more energy- and water-efficient than standard ice machines, the company says. To meet the standards, Kold-Draft took care to not reduce the quality of the finished product of the denser, more solid ice for which Kold-Draft is known.
