Two initiatives will support the development and education of up-and-coming bartenders during the seventh annual Tales of the Cocktail to be held in New Orleans July 8 to 12. The Cointreau Apprentice Program (CAP) will embark on several days of shadowing and learning from some of the most skilled veterans of the cocktail industry.
Additionally, Cointreau, The New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society and Tales of the Cocktail are presenting the Trails of the Cocktail scholarship. Candidates will be selected from the CAP participants, and recipients will receive a trip to the Cointreau Maison and Distillery and will spend two days with Cointreau brand ambassador Richard Lambert.
