Pittsburgh Blue in Minneapolis opened its “green oasis” patio. Landscaping such as flowers in hanging baskets, a cedar trellis, birch trees and arborvitae encloses the outdoor space. The focal point of the patio is a copper firepot set amidst an 8-foot-tall water feature. Designer Phil Roberts chose comfortable white chairs as well as black, solid surface tabletops with burnt orange umbrellas to provide shade. Both the regular and Blue Tavern menus are available for outdoor dining. www.pittsburghbluesteak.com.
