 I thought I would lead off this subforum with a common bartending problem: standard drink recipes. Recently, this debate came up again over how to make a lemon drop shot and/or lemon drop drinks. We had different bartenders making it different and different customers who expected something different. What's your take on lemon drops as an example and the double standard? What happens when you have multiple bars and bartenders not making it the same? What about the same recipe but not the same proportions so they don't taste quite the same? What about different pricing of even a quarter or 50 cents between bartenders?
