Some Great Bartending Books
December 29, 2012
One of the biggest reason we have been hearing is for the consistancy of the drinks, and the various ways people have made them through time.
A great one for those 'add-on' drinks/sales is:
"The Complete Guide To Jello Shots" - Author is Aaron Wright and he wrote this book with over 100 jello shot recipies and the front index is done by the liquor type. So if after New Years Eve you have a bunch of Champaign left, just look up that section and use it up there. Same with about all the liquor you have.
A new series that comes out Jan 1, 2013 is starting with the first 2 books (of an eventual 10) and they are all going to be different themes from "The Drinkers Bible"
Book 1 - "Shots Shots Shots" - Makes it very easy to understand how to make and serve about any shot.
Book 2 - "Drink Skinny" - I already have hundreds of this one pre ordered because it gives you the top 100 drinks (how to make the normal way) on the left page. Followed up with the same drink, but how to make it without all the caleries, carbs, ect.
and I've seen many more. All the above books will soon be available at many places. So if anyone is having trouple learning these, here is a solution for under $10
